Mr. Gabriel Okonkwo is the Managing Director of Superflux International Limited. He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos where he studied Business Administration. He was a seasoned banker with vast experience in Operations, Inspections, Internal Audit and Project Management.

While in banking, he served as a member of the MICR Technical Implementation Committee and was the Chairman of the Sub-Committee that produced the Interim Cheque Standard. Mr. Okonkwo also participated in the implementation of the Nigeria Cheque Standard Accreditation and the Nigeria Cheque Printers Accreditation Scheme (NICPAS) for cheque printers’ accreditation.

Mr. Okonkwo joined Superflux in 2007 as Head, Business Development, Cheque Outsourcing services and Cheque Fraud detection and Prevention training. He later became the Divisional Head, Sales and Marketing of all Superflux products and services and thereafter became the Chief Operating Officer of the company in 2014. In January 2018, he was appointed as the MD/CEO of Superflux International Ltd. and Vice-President of the Superflux Group.

Mr Okonkwo has attended various executive and security management trainings both locally and abroad. He has in the last ten years provided leadership in the training for several banks on cheque fraud detection & prevention and more recently the Cheque Truncation Operations. He also leads the team that conducts forensic analysis on fraud documents for Financial and Government institutions.
